My journey with binge eating began in Kindergarten. I used food to process uncomfortable emotions. I was an empath & food protected me from feeling.

This was me at 17 years old. I struggled with chronic binge eating for 12 years. I was disconnected from myself and my body. I had lost touch with my ability to feel.

This is the sustainable path to healing. You will cultivate a relationship with yourself that is deeply rooted in love, care and honoring.

My Story

My journey with binge eating began very early in my life. Food was the tool that I used to numb my feelings. I was a highly sensitive little girl, with a big heart and a depth of feeling. As a child, I didn’t have the tools to process these feelings. I restored to emotional eating.

At 17 years old, I weighed almost 300 pounds.

I had become extremely disconnected from my body.  

I decided to make a change. I went on a weight loss journey going into college. I lost 140 pounds, yet what I gained was a relationship with myself again. During this time, I began repairing my relationship with food and my body.

In 2012, I had a “spiritual awakening moment”.

I came home to myself.

I made a promise to myself that I would NOURISH my body from a place of love, care and respect.

From this promise, my first group program NOURISH was born. I led over 100 Women through my course!

As I have deepened my own journey back into my body, I decided it was important to share.

From here, EMBODIED: AN EMOTIONAL EATING JOURNEY was born.

  • In this module, you'll embark on a journey to uncover the roots beneath your emotional hunger. Together, we will delve deep into the origins of your food story, gaining valuable insights into the role food has played in your life. You will uncover who you need to become for yourself to meet your hunger and discover true healing. This will lay a strong foundation for the journey ahead.

  • In this module, you will discover the wisdom of your emotions. You will come to understand that your emotions hold sacred information and that burying them with food only leads to further disconnection. You will learn insights into the nature of emotional eating, identify personal triggers and discover nourishing tools to break free. Finally, you will understand the role trauma and the nervous system has had on your current struggles and the value nervous system care holds for your recovery.

  • In this module, you'll embark on a journey to reestablish a loving, safe, and kind relationship with your body. Embodiment goes beyond the body itself, embodiment is an invitation to step more fully into it. This journey back to the body will help strengthen your capacity to differentiate between your need for self care and emotional hunger. You will gain insights into the role trauma has played in the development of emotional eating. You will learn to recognize signals from your body of dysregulation, dissociation and urgency, signals that your body is communicating it’s time to pause and check in. You will be given practical somatic tools to help you regulate your somatic and emotional experience without turning to food. We will finish this module with a live somatic practice where you will move with feeling, experiencing the power of embodiment for processing emotions and integration.

  • In this module you will learn holistic tools to nourish your body in a way that promotes security, balance and overall wellness. Registered dietician Janae Mudge, will be a guest speaker, educating you on the value of creating balanced meals, the value of supporting blood sugar and women’s health. I will end this live session with a mindful eating practice to support deeper embodied ways of eating.

  • In this module, you will be guided on a journey to body love. You will be led through a mirror work practice. Through this practice, you’ll unveil the beauty that lives within you, beyond the surface. You will be inspired to shift your perception to discover a new story. We will end by writing a heartfelt letter to your body. This intimate moment allows you to express gratitude, tenderness and a newfound appreciation for the vessel that carries you through this life. It's a transformative week of self-love, where we aim to reshape the narrative and celebrate the unique beauty that is distinctly you.

  • In this module you will explore non-food sources that bring joy and fulfillment to your life.

    You will travel back in time to discover the little girl within who has been starving for attention, love and care. This week holds a special place in the program. Through this module, you will uncover the genuine cravings that have been lying dormant within, awaiting recognition and fulfillment. It’s a tender exploration of self-love that resonates profoundly. We will explore the work of Anita Johnson, who helps you uncover the symbolic roots beneath your hunger.

  • Challenge negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs that contribute to emotional eating and negative body image. Replace them with empowering narratives, guided by the ONE AND ONLY MINDSET expert, former Intuitive Eating and Body Image Coach, Rachel Molenda.

  • In this final module, we come together in community and sisterhood, sharing the progress and transformation that has occurred along the journey. You will be guided through a final initiation as you embark on the journey forward to truly living, embodied.

This 8 week program will guide you on a journey to breaking free from emotional eating. Each module is thoughtfully crafted to guide you on a journey of self-discovery, self love and to finally discover peace in your relationship with food and your body.
